sometimes I wonder who "out there" might be stopping by my blog. I have lots of unidentified footprints (for you non xangans, footprints is a link i can click that shows me what kind of traffic is coming through my blog.)--from places like Hong Kong, Netherlands. One time I even had prints from some middle eastern country. Seems the best way to draw people out of anonomity is to post something about dead animals or even a picture of a pretty little buck that will, yes, hang on my wall (it already is.)
It just strikes me as funny that folks are more inclided to respond a few and far between post about my husband's hunting than to my everyday thoughts about life, motherhood, Jesus, goofy kid-things, books, shopping, cakes, bargains, baby hugging and general life randomness. Not that many extra people commented yesterday. Just two that I've never seen around before (and one didn't even have to do with the dead deer, i don't think.) But, I'm okay with it. After all, that's how I met you, Katie.
I'm just saying. That's my much-to-lengthy-way to say that it intrigued me that I saw two new people yesterday.Okay then.
Yesterday I took care of the vacation shrapnel that littered my entire home sweet home. And then Aunt Tammy came over for a lovely, lovely visit. We sat & chatted for hours & hours while the two little ones slept. It was very refreshing & relaxing. And I haven't had the chance to visit with her like that for....well....I don't think we ever have! So, A.Tammy. Thanks! It was fun!

I'm sleeeeeeepy. foggy. cloudly. dull. I'd like to spend the entire day sitting here sorting through the almos 300 pictures I uploaded to shutterfly. and making photobooks and blah blah. But, duty calls. My 8am-8am job has just begun. I'll upload pics to my share site soon. I think I should go grocery shopping, too.
I'm sitting here trying to think of something--anything--random, witty, cute, informative, boring even--to say. And I'm coming up empty. So...I guess good-bye!

I had a new person on my site yesterday, too. Hmmm. Maybe it was the day for it.
How in the world did you clean up from vacation (shrapnel --Ha!) AND have time to visit for hours with Aunt Tammy? I'm still digging out from some camp mess from a couple of weeks ago. Ugh.
@gsowell - i should have said "some of the" shrapnel.
it's still around. it never ends really. i guess it's the shrapnel of life.

I love your blog....and don't tell Matt..but I prefer the mommy, Jesus, books and bargains talk to blogs about dead deer. And I love it even when you don't think you have anything witty to say...because really, you always do!

I agree with Christy - although I am also a country girl by marriage, I still like the conversations about non-dead-deer topics.
